New remedies are on the market now for joint pain that work well...check at health food stores. Also see arthritis.



Kidney Problems
To disolve stones take the juice of two lemons per day. Drink the water of soaking kidney beans pods. Kidney and bladder problems are helped by sipping a teaspoon of cream of tartar (the cooking ingredient) in a full glass of water. You must stir before each sip. I don't know why, but it seems to help. Cranberry juice is an old favorite too! I just read that people are getting wonderful relief from drinking cornsilk and parsley tea.



Laryngitis
Take plenty of vitamin C, suck on zinc lozenges. Lemon juice, honey and cayenne brings some relief. (See Hoarseness)



Leg Cramps
Increase your intake of calcium and magnesium. Stretch your legs out. I have also heard that rubbing a piece of metal on the cramp helps.



Lyme Disease
Apply a hot compress to the affected part. Then apply vegetable charcoal.



Male Problems
Think Zinc, Zinc, Zinc. I have read so much about how Zinc helps all types of men's problems (too many to list here). Chew pumpkin seeds for prostate disorders. Also take bee pollen. Drink cornsilk tea. For impotence drink mint tea and eat garlic. Squeeze the testicles firmly each day according to your age. One squeeze for each year of age.



Measles
Apple cider vinegar, baking soda or thyme applied to the sores. Bathe in a bath in which epsom salts, oatmeal or baking soda has been added.



Memory
Drink Sage tea for concentration. Take Gingko, Cayenne pepper and beta-carotene.

There has been a lot of research lately about mental disorders being caused by allergies or a lack of certain vitamin/mineral. Niacin has been extremely useful in helping with schizophrenia, paranoia, bulimia, anorexia, alcoholism, drug addiction and many others.



Migraines
Lecithin has been said to help tremendously.Take a couple of teaspoons of honey. Drink lots of water. The Bach Flower remedy Gentian also helps. Rosemary oil massaged on forehead. Drink a cup of hot coffee. Hot/cold showers. It may be time for a good cleanse to get the toxins out.



Mood Swings
Take niacin. Drink carrot juice. Take Kava-Kava



Motion Sickness
Chew on ginger root. Suck a lemon. Attach a penny to the inside of your wrist with a wrist band or on navel.



Mumps
Take Echinacea and grape seed extract.



Nail Problems
For thin and splitting nails, take silica. For l fungus apply Vick's vaporub.



Nausea
Take papaya tablets. Suck a lemon or drink a lemon/lime soda.



Neck Pain
Heat sand in a hot sock in the microwave and apply to the neck.



Nervousness
Take plenty of B vitamins.



Nightmares
Don't eat too close to bedtime. Take melatonin.



Nasal Problems
Snort warm salt water.



Obesity (overweight)
It isn't always about calories. Start out with a fast or a cleanse and go from there. Be sure to drink plenty of water, take fiber and check for food allergies. Apple Cider Vinegar is said to really take off the pounds. Take deep breaths!



Osteoporosis
Get plenty of exercise and take calcium supplements.
