Gallstones
Try a gallbladder cleanse. Drink green juices and lots of water. Take Vitamin C, flax oil and lechithin twice daily.



Gas
Drink ginger tea and also drink plenty of water. Eat a radish.



Genital Herpes
Vitamin B12 (300 mg/daily).Try oxygen therapy. (Diluted 35% hydrogen peroxide). Keep body alkaline.



Gout
Eat all types of cherries. Avoid sweets.



Grief
Bach Flower remedies work great. In the meantime try kava-kava and ginseng. Use the essential oil marjoram.



Hairloss
Take acidophilus. Massage the scalp. Rub fingernails from each hand together to stimulate the scalp (reflexology). Mix a jigger of vodka and 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper and massage into scalp. Rinse hair with mullein tea. Massage areas down both sides of the spine. Add a teaspoon of lemon oil to a glass of water and massage into hair.



Hangover
Drink lots of liquids, take vitamins B & C. Put some fresh lime juice and a pinch of cumin in orange juice and drink. Take aspirin before you go to bed after a heavy night of drinking. See alcolholism.



Hayfever
Vitamin C. Drink comfrey and elderberry teat. Eat garlic.Take honey and chew beeswax from a local beekeeper. Red clover and licorce herbs help.



Hair
Ginger root and ground cloves help prevent gray hair. Add apple cider vinegar, beer or lemon to rinse water for shiny hair. To make hair grow apply onion juice and honey to your scalp.(See also hairloss, dandruff.)



Headaches
Apply a rag wet with apple cider vinegar to forehead. Try reflexology. (Rub your feet until you find sore spots. Work this soreness out.) Rub your head with a lemon. Wade in cold bath water. Eat 2 teaspoons of honey. (also see sinus). For a migraine drink a hot cup of coffee or hot cocoa.



Heart
A cup of peppermint tea or cayenne pepper may prevent a heart attack. Take chromium and soy lecithin.



Heartburn
A teaspoon of baking soda in a large glass of water. Eat several radishes.



Heat Rash
Apply cornstarch. Take a bath in baking soda water, oatmeal water, epsom salts.



Heel Spurs
Take more calcium and magnesium. Put ice on your heel. Rub the heel (see reflexology).



Hemorrhoids
Soak in a hot tub, dry area gently and put a menthol rub on the hemorrhoid and the surrounding area. Take fiber and drink plenty of water to avoid hemorrhoids. Take a 100 mg of Rutin 3 times per day.



Hernia
Take zinc.



Hiccoughs
Take a teaspoon of dry sugar on the tongue. Place your finger sideways under your nose and press. Inhale black pepper until you sneeze.



High Blood Pressure
Take Soy Lecithin daily. Eat lots of celery. Increase your intake of potassium, magnesium and calcium. Eat garlic. Take coenzyme Q-10. Fast or take a cleanse.



High Cholesterol
Take soy lecithin daily. Eat plenty of garlic, onions and take apple cider vinegar.



Hoarseness
Take horseradish and honey.



Hyperventilation
Practice deep breathing exercises. Blow up a balloon or into a paper bag.



Incontinence
Take the homeopathic remedy causticum. Practice the Kegel exercise. (trying to stop and start your urine flow will stengthen the muscles in this area.) Also, spray the soles of your feet with water using either a showerhead or hose, your reflexes will be stimulated and strengthen the bladder area.



Indigestion
Drink peppermint tea. Eat celery or radishes. Take a vegetable charcoal tablet. Eat papaya tablets and eat pineapple.



Inflammation
Use a poultice of apple or potato on the skin.



Ingrown Toenails
Soak your feet in warm water. apply vitamin E. Gently push a small amount of cotton under the nail to alleviate the nail digging into the skin. Trim toenails square.



Injuries
Clean wound, apply cayenne pepper if bleeding. Apply petroleum jelly to keep the dirt out.



Insomnia
Drink a warm glass of milk with nutmeg. Take valerian or melatonin. Take a cold shower, dry lightly and jump under the covers.



Irritability
Take the amino acid GABA. Bach flower remedies! Spend some time alone and write down your problems. Soon they won't bother you and you will be more socialble.



Irritable Bowel Syndrome
Drink peppermint tea. Take the supplement glutamine (500 mg three times per day.)
